Known as ‘The Church of Bones’ this ossuary contains the remains of 40,000 and 70,000 people. To deal with the overwhelming amount of bones the church itself is decorated with bones of the dead.

There is something frightfully intriguing by the resulting display but also remarkably photogenic. I myself visited Prague last year and went to see the church myself and it was certainly worth a visit.

This had always been on my list of places to photograph ever since I first discovered it existed. Despite its eerie subject matter and sinister appearance I think it’s unique and fascinating.
